Do I need my exact birth time?
Yes, a partial reading is still very insightful. Your year, month, and day pillars alone reveal a great deal about your personality, career tendencies, and life cycles. We can also use a technique called time rectification to narrow down your birth time based on key life events. Just let me know when you book.
I don't know my exact birth time. Can I still get a reading?
Not at all. Bazi is a metaphysical system more like a sophisticated framework for self-understanding than anything spiritual or religious. You don't need to believe in anything to benefit from it. Many people approach it the same way they would astrology, the Enneagram, or Myers-Briggs as a lens for deeper self-awareness.
How is BaZi different from Western astrology or tarot?
Bazi is based purely on your birth data and the interaction of the Five Elements. It doesn't involve cards, intuition, or celestial bodies in the Western sense. It's a structured, systematic method developed over thousands of years in China with a specific logic and set of rules that trained practitioners follow. Think of it as a very detailed personality and timing system.
Does BaZi predict the future? Can it tell me exactly what will happen?
Bazi shows you patterns, tendencies, and energetic cycles not a fixed script. It can tell you that a particular period is highly favourable for career moves, or that a certain year may bring relationship challenges. But your choices still matter. Think of it as a weather forecast: knowing rain is coming lets you decide whether to bring an umbrella or stay home.
What will a consultation actually cover?
A full session covers your core personality and Day Master profile, your elemental strengths and weaknesses, your current 10-year luck pillar, the energy of the current year and how it interacts with your chart, and the specific areas of life you want to focus on whether that's career, relationships, wealth, or timing a big decision. You'll leave with practical insights, not just abstract concepts.
How long does a session take?
A standard consultation runs 60–75 minutes via video call. This gives us enough time to go through your full chart and answer your questions properly. You'll also receive a summary of the key insights after the session.
Do I need to prepare anything before the session?
Just have your birth date & birth time ready (as accurate as possible). It also helps to come with 2–3 specific areas of your life you'd like to explore, career, a relationship, a decision you're facing, or a period of life you want to understand better.
Is one session enough, or do I need multiple consultations?
Most people get tremendous value from a single session especially if it's your first reading. As your life circumstances change or you move into a new luck pillar cycle, many clients return for annual check-ins. But there's no pressure.
